“Pink Up” Morning Tea Fundraiser
On Friday 13th of October, Bowdens Silver staff held a morning tea fundraiser event as part of the “Pink Up” initiative currently running throughout the region.
The event was organised by a number of staff members and the day involved fundraising activities such as raffles, donations and even a couple of brave staff members who volunteered to get their hair dyed pink for an appropriate monetary donation. A big thank you to Cody and Craig for getting into the spirit of the day and putting vanity aside all in the name of a good cause.
Most importantly, Bowdens Silver staff were able to raise $600 which was generously matched by the company, for a grand total of $1,200 being donated to the McGrath Foundation to help continue their important work of providing dedicated breast care nurses throughout the community.
