Community Information Open Day at Lue

Community Information Open Day at Lue

On Sunday 20th November, we held an Information Open Day on site at our Lue office to update residents and interested parties on the progress of the Bowdens Silver project. A slide-show and presentation by Anthony McClure and Jane Munro was followed by a Q & A session. Despite the heat, around fifty people attended and we’d like to thank all those present for their interest and participation.

Environmental staff were on hand to demonstrate and explain aspects of our environmental monitoring program and the geology team set up a display of core and rock samples to show some of the fascinating and relevant mineralisation in the area.

Our biggest thank you goes to the Rylstone/Kandos Rotary Club

After the presentation, all guests and staff were provided lunch by the Rylstone/Kandos Rotary Club who set up a BBQ and cooked delicious steak and sausage sandwiches and distributed icy cold drinks. For their hard work and generosity, we’d particularly like to thank:

Robbie Marshall

David Fuller
Elizabeth McKay
Sophie McCormick (an exchange student from America)
